About Us

Founded by certified electrical engineer Carsten Jürschick, the origins of Jürschick Telekommunikation began in a residential area of Salzwedel in 1990.

Starting with five employees in a converted garage, we were heavily involved in the early days in setting up satellite and telephone systems, as well as cable television installation work in Salzwedel. Thanks to our careful and efficient work, we quickly established ourselves as a reliable service provider in other parts of the Altmark region as well. By 1997, we had already opened a second shop in the heart of downtown Salzwedel.

At the turn of the century, we primarily focused on setting up DSL internet connections. With the growing interest in consumer electronics and mobile phones, we have since expanded to include the sale and repair of smartphones, tablets, televisions, computers, laptops, and all related accessories.

In addition to our installation and maintenance services for telephone systems and TV reception, the last decade has seen us specialize in setting up complex LAN/Wi-Fi networks and handling mobile solutions in the business customer segment.

In 2018, we expanded our main location at Karl-Gaedcke-Straße 91 with additional space to accommodate our now 12 employees.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were one of the few essential businesses in Germany able to largely maintain our operations.

Winning the Altmark Business Award in 2021 crowned our over 33-year history and paved the way for continued success in the Altmark region and beyond.

Currently, we are heavily involved in the broadband expansion in and around Salzwedel, serving as the official point of contact for fiber optic connections from Deutsche Telekom, Avacon Connect, and DNS-Net, providing our customers with expert support.
